The Everest Base Camp trek on the south is the favorite trekking route among all trekkers who visit Himalaya every year. Trekkers often fly to Lulka from the beautiful capital city of Nepal, Kathmandu, so that they can save their time and energy to begin trek to the base camp in the morning with required stamina and enthusiasm. The Everest Base Camp trail with many beautiful stops is quite enchanting, it offers several breath taking views of Himalayan ranges and their incredible flora and fauna. This exciting trek finally marks its end at Kala Patthar Base Camp and so it is also known as Everest Kala Patthar Trekking.

Arrival At Kathmandu
On arrival at Kathmandu, our representative will meet you & transfer you to one of the best hotels of the city, where you can have food & take some rest. If you feel energetic enough, grab an opportunity to check out the malls & street shops of this beautiful capital city of Nepal. At night, get back to your hotel room for a relaxing overnight stay.

Kathmandu (1,400M)
After breakfast, proceed for an interesting sightseeing tour that includes visit to popular tourist places of incredible Kathmandu Valley like:  Hindu Temple/ Pashupatinath Temple - Considered as most sacred among the temples of Lord Shiva, this Hindu Temple at the banks of the Bagmati River in the eastern part of Kathmandu is listed in UNESCO World Heritage Sites list. Boudhanath: Located about 11 km from the center and northeastern outskirts of Kathmandu, Boudhanath is one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Kathmandu that has the largest Buddhist Stupa. Swyambhunath: Also known as Monkey temple, the Swayambhunath Stupa is the most ancient holy shrines in Kathmandu valley. The Patan City of Fine Arts: Full of Hindu temples and Buddhist monuments, the ancient city of Patan is located about 5-km southeast of Kathmandu and widely known as the city of fine arts. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Kathmandu - Lukla (2840M) - Phakding (2800M - 03hrs)
After breakfast, fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2886m) that takes about 30 minutes. On arrival in Lukla, meet trek staff and commence trek to Phakding (2600m.), which is about 3 hours journey. While trekking to Phakding, you will have the pleasure of grabbing incredible views of Kusum Kangaru (6367m), Mt. Nupla (5885m) and Mt. Kongde range as well as pass through Chaurikharka and Chhuplung. After three long hours of trekking to Phakding, do overnight stay in a Tea House/Lodge.

Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440M, 5 hrs)
After breakfast, trek along the dudh koshi valley and enter the Sagarmatha National Park. Also pass through the villages interspersed with magnificent forest and be rewarded with stunning views of Everest (8848m0), Thamserku (6608m), Kusum Kanggru (6369m), and Nuptse (7879 m). After 5 amazing hours of trekking, you finally reach the beautiful village of Namche Bazaar (3440m), where you will do overnight stay in Tea House/Lodge.

Namche Bazaar
Find a free day at Namche for acclimatization, as it is quite important before proceeding to a higher elevation. While here, go for a short hike to Khunde, Thame, Khumjung or Syangboche for excellent views of great Himalayan ranges including Everest, or explore the sherpa culture of Namche. This short but amazing sightseeing will be followed by a good nights rest in your Tea House/Lodge room.

Namche - Tengboche (3860M- 5 hrs)
After breakfast, you will trek to Tengboche (12664 feet) via Shanasa and Fungethaga. While trekking, you will pass through magnificent attractions such as Dudh Koshi, a milk river, where you can see water driven prayer wheels as well as find an opportunity to witness stunning views of Amadablam Thamserku, Gokyo River and Islamd peak. After 4-6 hours of fascinating trekking, you will finally reach Tengboche monastery, which is set amidst Sagarmatha National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as well as surrounded with a panoramic view of the Himalayan Mountain Ranges, including the peaks of Everest, Lhotse, Tawache, Nuptse, Thamserku and Ama Dablam. Rest and overnight stay in one the best lodging places of Tengboche.

Tengboche to Dingboche (4350M - 4 hrs)
After breakfast, follow a spectacular high path to Dingboche, which takes you through some magnificent shady forest trails and also provides spectacular views of Himalayan ranges. Also en - routePangboche that is the highest year-round settlement in the valley, including a famous gompa (monastery). On arrival in Dingboche, check into a full service hotel for overnight stay.

Dingboche
Find a free day at Dingboche, as it is another rest area to acclimatize for altitude. While here, go for an optional walk to Chhukhung - This is a gorgeous valley, located in the Himalayas south of Mount Everest, as well as visit Island Peak base camp with packed lunch for the day and back to Dingboche for overnight stay.

Dingboche - Lobuche (5018M - 4 hrs)
After breakfast, follow the main trail to Everest base camp up beside Khumbu glacier to Lobuche 4900m via Thukla, a beautiful vista along the way. The best part about trekking to Lobuche is it provides several picturesque views of Himalayan ranges like: Makalu, Lhotse, Thamserku, Ama Dablam, Island Peak, Taboche, Cholatse and Lobuche. On arrival in Lobuche, check into a full service hotel for overnight stay.

Lobuche - Gorakshep - Kala Patthar (5545m - 5 hrs)
After breakfast, trek from Lobuche to Kala Patthar. While trekking, follow the rocky moraine path, view icy glacial pond and icebergs down below of Khumbu glacier and then after the last rocky moraine dunes comes Gorakshep, that is the location of the original Everest Base Camp and is located just flat field below Kala Patthar (5545m) and Mt. Pumori (7145m.). From this frozen lakebed, have a gradual walk until a rocky spot comes; after which another uphill climb of half an hour takes you to your desired destination, Kala Patthar. You will then come back to Lobuche for overnight stay.

Lobuche - Pheriche -Thyngboche (3867m – 7 - 8 hrs)
After the exhausting climb to Kala Patthar, you will now go for easier walk to the lower altitudes, following the same route back to the terminal moraines at Dughla, from where you will take a different return trail to Pheriche, that houses several welcome tea houses with "left overs" for sale from various climbing expeditions. You will then continue trek through Lower Pangboche to reach Thyangboche or Tengboche, an important Buddhist monastery, located in the Khumbu region of northeastern Nepal. This is the final destination of the day, where you will do overnight stay.

Thyngboche - Namche Bazaar - Monjo (2835m - approx 8hrs)
After breakfast, descend to Phungithanga through the beautiful forest of juniper, rhododendron till the riverbank of Dudh Koshi. Once you cross Dudh Koshi, ascend to Shanasa via Trashinga, where you will have your lunch. You will then have your way back to Namche Bazaar, from where you will proceed to the final destination of the day, Monjo via Bhote Koshi and following the bank to Jorsale. On arrival in Monjo check into a full service lodge for some rest and overnight stay.

Monjo - Lukla (2886m – hrs.)
The final day of your trek follows the Dudh Koshi valley to Lukla via Phakding with the pleasant walk. On arrival in Lukla, you will have a free day to relax and celebrate the completion of your trek. Overnight stay inLukla Hotel.

Lukla - Kathmandu
After breakfast, transfer to Lukla Airport for your flight back to Kathmandu. On arrival in Kathmandu, check into hotel. If left with some time after rest then go for a short sightseeing. At night, have your dinner and get back to your hotel room for overnight stay.

Find a free day to enjoy magnificent sightseeing tour of this beautiful capital city of Nepal, that includes visit to places like Bhadgaon, Golden Gate, King Malla Statue, Fifty-Five Windowed Palace, Taleju Bhawani Temple, Titanic Bell, Toumadhi Square with NYATAPOUL Pagoda, Bagh Bhairav Temple, Pottery Square, Datta-Traya Square with Pujari-Math Temple and Peacock Window and Industrial Estate etc. At night, get back to your hotel for overnight stay.
