This section details a 21 day trek from Jiri to the Everest base camp. The trek I describe ends with a flight back to Kathmandu from Lukla.if you fly to Lukla.being reading at Day 8 and spend your first night at Phakding, but be sure to Take an extra day at Namche Bazaar or Tengpoche for acclimatisation.
You can make an excellent 32 day trek by walking on to Dhankuta instead of flying out from lukla.The description of this route is in the Eastern Nepal chapter
