Kanchenjunga South

Kanchenjunga South
There are lots of ways to make this trek, but the way i have described here is the easiest .if you can arrange a flight in to Taplejung .Take a look at the route profile for this trek. There is an incredible amount climbing of up and down. When i trekked this route, I calculated that we climbed -and descended more than 15000 metres during two weeks of walking. Be sure are ready for this kind of effort before you set out; there are no escape routes if you get sick, tired or bored. if you cannot get a flight to Taplejung.consider driving to phidim, two days walk to the south. The road is complate to this point and there is a bus or truck service from Ilam. From phidim, you can bypass Taplejung and head over some ridges to the Kabeli Khola and Yamphudin.be sure that phidim is included on your trekking permit if you plan to use this option.
